Vanessa Jane Patrick is a Motivational Speaker, Trainer, and Head Coach from Live, Love, Give, who has dedicated her life to helping those who want more out of life, breakthrough their limitations by uncovering and aligning with who they truly are, and building the courage to go after what they truly want so that can stop settling for mediocrity and create an empowered and fulfilling quality of life and love.
After years of living a confused and distraction filled life, never knowing who she truly was, or what she really wanted, Vanessa was in her path of becoming a lawyer when she was introduced to the world of self development. This is where she was finally given the opportunity to question the path she was on and consciously determine the course of her life.
She made the decision to shift directions from a path that was leading her towards becoming another statistic and experiencing the #1 regret of the dying:
“I wish I had of live a life that was true to myself, rather than one I felt was expected of me.”
To a life filled with true freedom and fulfilment, growth and contribution. A life where she tread her own authentic path, trusts and believes in herself and feels as though her life has real meaning, purpose and direction.
Vanessa teaches that there is no greater feeling of freedom you get, than from living a life that is true to who you are. When you are no longer affected by the judgements and criticisms of others, when you no longer rely on their validation, you are free to live a purpose filled life. A life of real meaning. The life you were born to live.
Get clear on what YOU want.
Stop filtering EVERYTHING through your PERCEPTION of what another wants.
You will NEVER BE HAPPY until you get clear on who you are, what you want, and have the courage to go after it.
You will NEVER MAKE THEM HAPPY until you get clear on who you are, what you want, and have the courage to go after it either!
Stop selling yourself out.
Stop second guessing.

It's a funny thing to bare witness to those whom feel you are taking something from them when you communicate a desire.
As I am writing this I am sitting on a flight from Sydney to LA and I was typing away happily before the woman in front of my put her chair the entire way back, she did it quite abruptly and I thought my laptop screen was about to snap! My 15 inch screen didn't help!! Note to self: invest in iPad for travel!
Anyway, this was entirely unbeknownst to her. To make matters worse, I was seated in one of those seats that has a wall behind it and can't recline back.
My past self would have sat in my 5 inches of space, manoeuvring my huge laptop into so piece of origami and I would have been super uncomfortable for the next 14 hours of my trip.

How much of your life is being lived for you?
How much of your life is being lived to prove yourself to others? To gain their validation?
How much time and energy do you put towards worrying about the opinions and judgements of others?
How much do you allow other peoples perspectives to beat down on your self-esteem?
Freedom comes from knowing ourselves, knowing our worth, and giving and receiving from ourselves what we reliantly seek from others.
Love enters our conscious awareness when we start the journey towards self-validation, self-care, self-love.
